Which Type of RFID solution do I need

To decide which type of RFID solution needed, firstly prioritise what you need tracked or traced.  If you want for example to track temperature inside a lorry or van delivering food, then you would look at using an active RFID solution as these tags can have additional functionality built into them.  If you wanted to track boxes moving in and out of warehouses or onto vans and lorries then a passive RFID solution would be better as the price of the tags is lower as they do not need to have there own power or additional functionality.
