I have heard of Gen2 tags what are these?

Gen 2 tags are tags that work in the Ultra High Frequency (UHF) range.  In Europe this range is 865.6 - 868 MHz.  These types of tags are commonly used by organisations that need to track large volumes of assets and containers and need a tag that combines long range and low cost.
